2nd Annual Plein Air Austin Spring Social in Florence
April 8, 2023
The Artists of Plein Air Austin are known for painting in the tradition made famous by the French Impressionists to create artwork “en plein aire” or outdoors in the plain air. This method is from direct observation of life in a rural or urban setting that depicts a subject and the atmosphere in daylight or nocturne lighting.
The Artists of PAA hosted a Paint Out at the Vineyard in Florence from 9AM to noon on Saturday April 8th. That afternoon we had a demonstration painting session at the Impossible Dream Studio in Florence. The people who came had a great time. Thank you, Tom, for teaching the class.
