Grand Opening: February 19, 2022

• Private Plein Air Artist breakfast 8:00 am- 8:45 am

• Doors open to the public at 9:00 am

• Free coffee and donuts from Florence Donuts (YUM!) while supplies last

• Paint and Draw Florence Main Street from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with Plein Air Austin, Plein Air Round Rock, and the Hill Country Painters

  • If you want to join in the fun, drawing or painting Main Street, drop by the Studio at 9am. Free portable sketchbook and pencil for art students of all ages who participate in the event. Florence High School and Middle School artists are especially invited. Sketchbooks while supplies last

  • Short “tips and tricks” workshop at 9am before going to Main Street

• Informal Art show and sale at noon of all works produced in the morning

• The first fifty people will get a FREE zine!

• Delicious macaroons and cupcakes by @bakedwithlovebyneenie

• Official Ribbon cutting ceremony at 2pm (thank you, Florence Chamber of Commerce)

• Afternoon until 8pm, the Studio will be open, come down and meet David, have some wine, and a snack at Florence’s new art hub

• "Anyone can Make a Zine" workshop at 3pm

  • What is a Zine anyway video

  • David made a "Birds of Central Texas Zine"

  • Ruby made a "Dreaming" Zine.

• Free Oracle Card readings in the afternoon and evening

• Sidewalk chalk under the canopy all day

• Wine and visit starting around 4pm
